DayZero WATER BOXES AVAILABLE NOW
Our family water box is a water-treatment appliance which uses ultraviolet (UV) light to disinfect water for drinking and cooking. It applies technology which is already proven and widely used in municipal water systems, but scales it down for use by single families

Power can be supplied by hand-cranking ,or from a 110V AC electrical outlet, or an automobile 12V DC outlet. Both adapters are included.
When external power is used, an automatic timer turns off the bulb after 4 minutes.
Germicidal ultraviolet fluorescent bulbs contain a tiny amount of mercury and should be disposed of according to the rules for CFL bulbs, or else returned to DZW for disposal. DZW supports the concept of the circular economy and has adopted “circular manufacturing.” Serviceable parts salvaged from older products may sometimes be used instead of brand new parts in new water boxes.
